talking about Watertown

Well, here we are again, another Mile Long is coming
up.  I've lost count how many have gone by since I've been here,
but I will say this, they've changed pretty dramatically.

I don't mean to pass any value
judgement, but it seems to me that it has lost a lot of it's local
flavor doesn't it?  I know that it's a major fundraiser in the
community, but wouldn't it be nice to keep the chinese socks and cheap
cosmetics out of the mix?

Would it be feasible to pre-screen
vendors, or perhaps that would just be too much work and detract from
the event...what do you think?
