talking about Watertown

If you're new to the web, this may seem a little confusing at
first.  Let me try to offer a bit of help for you to get started.

In
the blue header bar, there are three links Your Blog, Write a Story,
and Upload Photo.  They are fairly self explanatory, but are your
main 'toolbar' for this site. 

Once you've registered, there are a couple of important ways that you can contribute and become part of the site.

• Add Comments:  The stories and blog entries that you see on
  the main page are an invitation to conversation.  Since any
  registered person can post a story or blog, you may not agree with
  everything you read, but comments are a way that you can share YOUR point of view.
• Blogs:  You may have heard the term, it refers to what might be called a diary
  or a daily news column written by one person.  Once you register,
  you automatically have your own blog, and if you click the "Your Blog"
  link at the top of the screen, you can start writing away.
• You will see a small icon just below the Edit bar that has a large green plus sign
  this will allow you to add an image to your post.  You will have
  to upload (add) a new image for it to be available.  Once
  uploaded, you can choose to display the original image, or a
  'thumbnail' which is usually better for including in a post.
• Going Home:  If you get lost, just click on the "talking about Watertown" link in the main (top) menu bar, and you'll be taken back to the Home page.
